The Xinwei Forest Park sits on a tableland on the west bank of the Laonong River, around the 45km mark of the Provincial Highway No. 28. Since it is 200 meters above sea level, visitors can enjoy a bird's-eye view of the Central Mountain Range and Laonong River below.

15:30-17:00   Dragon Head Mountain Recreation Area – Mini Great Wall Trail

Features a rare landform shaped by a river flowing through the region to resemble the shape of a humongous dragon lying on the ground, with the mountain range as its spine. Over time, the river sculpted the mountain and eventually cut it in half, making it look like a dragon spewing out pearls from afar and winning it a nickname “pearl-spewing dragon.”
